What and How to study for 2015 post utme

To our Jambites There has been alot of questions, some students are asking about the cut-off mark of various institutions they applied for, others are inquiring on how competitive their choice department is and their chances of getting admitted. I give an answer to your questions:  The admission percentage for last year's postume was very high, this was due to the fact that the number of students who sat for the putme exam was very small due to mass failure in jamb . But this year's jamb was different. A huge percentage of candidates passed the cut-off for the institution they applied for.Leaving you with one fact that the putme will be highly contested. And as a result of this, all departments in the universities will be competitive. Those departments that students despise and call minor will now be admired, all courses this time will be highly competitive.  So what are your chances?  All candidates have equal chances, the jamb is more or less a ticket to t...

How will this year's admission procedure look like?

To all Jambites! It appears that alot of prospective students passed this year's jamb. The 2015 jamb is the first ever all CBT exam. Alot of students testified to the effectiveness of the testing systen but the complaint still remained, some said their computer kept turning off and on, others had theirs go off completely ( i believe such students already failed the exam). But this complains were few, 200 and above were the scores ringing every where and this leaves us with on e fact- THE POST UME will be keenly contested and stiffly competitive. The last post ume writen in Uniben (for example) was written by only a few student ( about 15,000 I believe) due to the fact that alot of students failed jamb that year as a result the admission percentage was very high.  But i bet you it won't be the same this time, multitudes are coming for the post ume exam ( and when i say multitudes I mean multitudes). If you scored 200 and above then you are a contender, get ready. ...

What all jambites should know-naijastudent'sblog

All and on students who had 200 and above in their jamb keep asking me one question "what are my chances". I decided to write this post to give you an Idea of what your chances are this year. First of all,it is an established fact as I have stated earlier in one of my previous articles that this years jamb had a lot of successes 200 and above is what I hear anytime I inquire on the performance of a student ( click here to read the post ) as a result the post ume exam in all universities will be keenly contested. Schools will witness crowd and multitude off students coming for the screening test. Therefore one thing is needful for all students to have in mind  'the competition will be stiff''. Students should forget about how high or how low their jamb score is,students should stop measuring their chances by their jamb score. If you applied for a university and you got 200 and above, what it means is that you have been invited for the selection test...

Degrees don't give Millions-naijastudentsblog

Some of the world's richest men never had a college degree, most of them simply just got the degree after they had made their wealth. An Idea not a college degree is what is needed to make wealth, services not college grades is what is needed to amass financial treasures. The principle still remains the same;discover a need in the world or your society, and provide a satisfying solution to that need. -Dangote who is the richest man in Africa didn't make his billions with his certificate in business studies. -Mark Zukerberg the youngest billionaire created facebook in his hostel room in the university out of passion and a feeling for the need of a universal social network, his degree didn't give him billions his idea did. -Bill Gate makes his never ending billions of dollars from microsoft and not from working with his college/university degree. -The popular actors, musicians and entertainers in Nigeria made their wealth from ideas and services, not from their...
