The 2015 UTME  will be the ever first all CBT  matriculation examination. A lot of prospective students have registered for this examination with the amount increasing day by day but the admission slots offered by tertiary institution remains fairly the same therefore making the scheme a very competitive one. Most candidates just jump into the examination hall mal-informed and poorly prepared, especially to the new candidates who have never taken the examination before the below tips will be useful.
1.Candidates need to know that jamb is never tired of setting questions for millions of students, they don’t care if you pass the examination or not, jamb is never your friend.
2. During your registration, make sure your subject combinations are correct, jamb wont  correct or change it for you,the right passport color should be used and right size, make sure to follow all the registration instructions to the letter.
3. Remove every notion of you writing jamb again from your mind, you can write it just once and get what you want.
4.Dont set your mind on examination malpractice, spend that time you use in planning to study.
5.Aim very high don’t see scoring 200 and above as a mountain, see it as a piece of cake that you can chew easily, study to score very high, don’t underestimate the efficacies of group studies, and make sure to study the English literature prescribed, about 15 questions are asked only from that book.
6. No general fights two different battles with the same weapons.Never you rely on the books you used in you O’level exams they may not be enough for you to pass.
7. Locate your exam centre at least one week to the exam.
8.Make sure to go to the exam hall with a wrist watch, you don’t have the whole day to write the exam.
9. Never you underestimate the place of faith and prayers in your quest for success.
