Should I study a course I didn't apply for?-naijastudentsbog


Only the Man that has stayed at home for four consecutive years will understand what am intending to say.
Most students in tertiary institutes across the country are actually studing course they did not apply for,they were given the courses they are currently studing by the school probably because their putme score wasn't enough or up to that of the course they had applied for so they were offered a course their screening score matched with.

Were you offered a course you didn't apply for?
What are your plans,are you planning to go with the course,or do you want to reject it and take the jamb exam again?
To some,they think taking the course would mean a lack of determination and focus they would rather relax and take Jamb again. To others they would just give up and take the course while to others they would take  the course with plans of rewriting Jamb.
What would you do?
The advice is "HOLD FAST TO THE ADMISSION YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED" you might not be lucky to get it again,the General advise is take the offered course and study to rewrite the UTME  exam again.
The advantage of this is you first secure an admission that you might never get again which millions are fighting for yearly and on taking the course with plans to rewrite the jamb exam, you increase in experience and knowledge thereby increasing your chances of getting your desired course on your second trial.
Keep your self occupied and your brains working by taking the course you have been offered.
But the choice is yours,this is but an advice.

All and on students who had 200 and above in their jamb keep asking me one question "what are my chances". I decided to write this post to give you an Idea of what your chances are this year. First of all,it is an established fact as I have stated earlier in one of my previous articles that this years jamb had a lot of successes 200 and above is what I hear anytime I inquire on the performance of a student ( click here to read the post ) as a result the post ume exam in all universities will be keenly contested. Schools will witness crowd and multitude off students coming for the screening test. Therefore one thing is needful for all students to have in mind  'the competition will be stiff''. Students should forget about how high or how low their jamb score is,students should stop measuring their chances by their jamb score.
